The Chand Baori, an amazing vast well with flights of steps on three sides was built in the 10th century in Abhaneri, near Jaipur in Indian state of Rajasthan.
. This impressive step well is as deep as a seven storeyed building. The famous Harshat Mata temple situated opposite to this well shows that there must have been a religious connection with the step-well. The well is 35 m on each side with steps leading down from each side and water could be drawn from any level.
If you are wondering why it is called baori than answer for is that in hindi baori means well.
Legends say that ghosts build it in one night and that it has so many steps to make it impossible for someone to retrieve a coin once it’s been dropped in the well.

Books can accompany you in strange ways, but I have never come across such a staircase. Stairs can hold books: take the steps. But let me remember my pleasures before I fall asleep.
The Designer's are of this view.
The flat occupies part of the shared top floor of an existing Victorian mansion block. Our proposal extended the flat into the unused loft space above, creating a new bedroom level and increasing the floor area of the flat by approximately one third. We created a 'secret' staircase, hidden from the main reception room, to access a new loft bedroom lit by roof lights. Limited by space, we melded the idea of a staircase with our client's desire for a library to form a 'library staircase' in which English oak stair treads and shelves are both completely lined with books. With a skylight above lighting the staircase, it becomes the perfect place to stop and browse a tome. The stair structure was designed as an upside down 'sedan chair' structure (with Rodrigues Associates, Structural Engineers, London) that carries the whole weight of the stair and books back to the main structural walls of the building. It dangles from the upper floor thereby avoiding any complicated neighbour issues with the floors below.

People can be rude as hell with cell phones. Good for those musicians. The dude was an idiot. Anything that was that important he could have left and took it outside.

An amazing story of a two legged dog. This two-leg dog is called FAITH, born on the eve of Christmas in 2002. She could only crawl on the ground when she was born. Even her mother looked down on his deficiency and tried to kill him. Her owner, Jude Stringfellow, adopted Faith when the mother dog was found trying to smother the deformed puppy her son rescued the puppy and brought her home. Many people, including veterinarians, advised that Faith be euthanized. Instead, using a spoon with peanut butter as an incentive, Jude taught Faith to hop but Faith decided on her own to walk; the family's corgi would bark at Faith from another room, or nip her heels to urge her to walk.
